It is the largest worldwide organisation devoted to the promotion and preservation of Irish Traditional music, song, dance and language. Our mission is to bring a community of all ages together to learn, share and experience the music and culture of Ireland.
What does a community fundraising volunteer do?
A community fundraising volunteer supports all the work that Comhaltas in Britain does in our local communities across England, Scotland and Wales. You’ll be supporting the team in the generation of the funds to continue our grassroots projects. These funds help us to do more in the community and provide unique experiences for our members.
Location
Comhaltas in Britain is split into 4 regions: London & Southern, Midlands, Northern, Scotland. We have 25 branches across Britain with new branches being developed every year.
Role description
* Support local fundraising events, including generating ideas.
* Distribute promotional materials to the general public.
* Help with distribution of raffle tickets [Music Draw] to the local community.
