We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and motivated individuals to join our team as Support Workers/Senior support workers and Banks workers as we transition into our new service provision. Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping our residents achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. You will provide emotional and practical support in day-to-day activities, helping individuals develop their independence, build life skills, and work towards recovery. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside mental health professionals to ensure the wellbeing of each individual. Key Responsibilities: Offer day-to-day support to residents with mental health conditions in a residential setting. Assist with personal care, medication management, and promoting healthy lifestyles. Support residents in developing their independence, social skills, and confidence. Provide one-to-one and group activities that promote mental and emotional wellbeing. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement person-centred care plans. Record and monitor residents' progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff. Encourage residents to engage in community activities and support them in accessing local services. Key Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, working with individuals with mental health conditions (desired but not essential). A compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
