Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home based.

Position Scope:
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our site in Normanton. The position will focus on a wide range of HR tasks from E.R. cases, disciplinaries, attendance issues, supporting managers and general HR Administrative tasks. It is an exciting time to join the business due to recently joining the Tate & Lyle Sugars business so there is a lot of scope to take on more responsibilities as the role grows.
* Attending investigation/disciplinary hearings to note take, ensuring the implementation of Company policy at all times.
* Effectively monitoring colleague attendance, providing advice to line managers on the implementation of company policy.
* Attending formal hearings with regards to attendance issues, and to coordinate subsequent absence review meetings where appropriate.
* Assisting with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrolment, organisation-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and other celebrations.
* Coordinating, organising and recording training courses and attendees.
* Providing clear advice to the management team on the implementation of policies, procedures and best practice, and the implementation of employment legislation, ensuring consistency and fairness in treatment of colleagues is maintained at all times
* Completion and supply of information for employees to the payroll bureau, ensuring that this is completed to deadline to enable accurate payroll.
* To coordinate Occupational Health clinics, ensuring that referrals to occupational health are completed in a timely manner and followed up accordingly.
* Sending out offer letters/contracts and other associated paperwork
Experience Requirements
* Experience in a similar HR position within food or manufacturing sectors
* Ability to take the initiative and be detailed orientated.
* CIPD preferred or working towards this.
* Payroll experience.
* Experience of being involved with E.R. cases & disciplinaries.
