My client, a leading company in the procurement and supply chain sector, is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team. This permanent position will play an important role in managing customer relationships and supporting the sales process. Key Responsibilities: Communicate daily with customers, Sales Managers, and Service Engineers by phone and email. Review customer requests, spot any issues, and provide quick responses with the correct information. Answer customer questions, resolve problems, and make sure product details are clear. Prepare and check quotations, ensuring accuracy in part numbers and quantities, following company pricing policies. Send quotes to customers and inform Sales Managers to follow up. Enter customer orders into the ERP system and process them correctly. Keep the dispatch/warehouse team updated on order changes. Prepare shipping documents when needed. Assist with creating presentations and gathering technical information for quotes. Process sales returns and credits as needed. Provide updates to customers about their existing orders. Help with risk assessments and order checklists. Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth running of sales and service activities. Review quotes to ensure all pricing and costs are correct before they are sent out.Job Requirements: Experience in sales administration, especially with technical or engineering products. Knowledge of shipping within the UK and Europe, including Ireland. Strong customer service skills. IT skills and experience with ERP systems, ideally Navision or SAP. Experience with Ministry of Defence products is a plus. Proactive and self-motivated, with a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team, especially with remote Sales Managers and Engineers.Benefits: Permanent, full-time contract. 25 days holiday. Annual bonus.
