Main duties of the job
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in our financial planning and decision-making processes. You will work closely with key budget holders, providing vital insights that drive the organisation's strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing, analysing and reporting on monthly management accounts
2. Developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts and financial models
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making
4. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving efficiency improvements
5. Supporting year-end financial processes and liaising with auditors
6. Continuously improving financial systems, processes and controls.

Qualifications
Essential
* CCAB or CIMA finalist or passed finalist or qualified by extensive experience in all aspects of management and financial accountancy
Desirable
* CCAB or CIMA qualified
Knowledge, Skills and Expertise
Essential
* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and finance ledger systems
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to plan tasks and demonstrate flexibility as required.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Experience

* Experience of business planning and investment appraisal

* Prior experience of NHS Finance principles and procedures
