Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a dedicated and experienced Integrated Sexual Health Nurse/Advisor to join our team at King's Mill Hospital on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will support and deputise for the matron as required, ensuring all aspects of the service are fully supported and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the matron and senior team members to provide expert knowledge and skills in contraception, sexual health, and health advising.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' contraceptive and sexual health needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating personalised care programmes.
• Empower service users to make informed decisions about their contraception and sexual health needs.
• Support the provision of training and health promotion programmes for the nursing team, SEXions, and Outreach, ensuring consistency in training resources and service user information.
• Provide leadership and motivation to establish evidence-based clinical practices, setting standards and conducting regular audits in line with the Trust’s commitment to clinical governance.
