The successful candidate will join my clients growing sales team. They will initially be responsible for generating new business and maximizing the sales potential of accounts within their portfolio. This is a target-based role, with a focus on proactively promoting and selling fuel card products and services, while also managing customer accounts and performing associated administrative duties in a timely manner. The role requires a discreet individual who can maintain confidentiality due to the sensitive information they will be exposed to throughout the sales process. Key Responsibilities: Self-source leads in your designated sales area and initiate contact (Cold Calling). Call leads distributed by head office for your designated sales area (Warm Calling). Identify decision makers and develop relationships to create business opportunities. Complete contracts and proposals for new customers. Manage customer accounts to grow your portfolio. Maintain the company database (CRM) on all sales opportunities. Handle account inquiries as required. Liaise with the credit control department to evaluate customer applications. Candidate Profile: Proven experience working in a target-driven environment. Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work calmly under pressure. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with good telephone technique and networking skills. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Strong problem-solving skills. Demonstrable commitment to confidentiality. Excellent IT skills with proven experience in Microsoft Office. Strong administration skills. Essential Criteria: Minimum 2 years of experience in outbound telephone sales. Minimum 1 year of experience in CRM or similar software. Desirable Criteria: Experience within the Fuel Card industry.
