Health and Safety Advisor We are currently looking to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor at our Market Harborough (Leicestershire) office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive professional to join an established team and deliver excellent customer service and ongoing support to clients. The Role: Provide comprehensive Health & Safety management support to educational establishments and other clients as required. Assist clients in ensuring their working practices are safe and comply with legislation. Support the development of local policies and procedures. Conduct and support risk assessments. Undertake management audits/reviews, producing reports with suggested improvements. Perform inspections, document findings, and recommend improvements. Support property-related health and safety matters, including fire safety, asbestos, and legionella management. Develop and deliver CPD-accredited health & safety training, including asbestos management, accident investigation, and manual handling. Attend Governor Meetings as required. Conduct and support accident investigations, including report production and RIDDOR reporting. Review and provide guidance on educational visits in line with national guidance. Produce newsletters and bulletins. Key Skills and Experience: Experience in a similar outsourced health and safety support role. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in health and safety. NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is required. Comfortable using digital and cloud-based systems. Strong interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions. Team player with a willingness to support the wider team when necessary. Flexibility and adaptability. Full UK driving licence. Package: Work-life balance is key to effective service delivery.
