The Job
The Head of Videography is responsible
for the end-to-end lifecycle of any Flight
Club, Electric Shuffle and Red Engine video task or
project. Working primarily with the Creative and
Marketing teams, they will plan, shoot, edit, and deliver
high-quality video content that engages our audience and takes our brands to
the next level. From polished website videos to fun, social-friendly clips that
speak to a young, digital-savvy crowd, their aim is to capture our
brand spirit and resonate across platforms.
The role requires a keen eye for composition, a clear
understanding of narrative, and a solid technical background, to elevate
the creativity and professionalism of every project. They
will not only support campaign goals and stay true to our brand tone
and vision, but identify areas for evolution and
growth. They should be able to budget and project
manage more complex shoots.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Creating Engaging

energy social content and help tell compelling
brand stories, seeing your vision come to life across diverse
formats captivating audiences.

team, you’ll help shape the direction
of video campaigns, staying on top of trends and bringing bold,
innovative ideas to the table that keep us ahead of the curve and in
the forefront of our audience’s minds.

Problem-Solving: From on-site shoots to studio
editing, you’ll thrive in a role that values quick thinking and

* Exploring and
Connecting: Travel to our venues across the UK and collaborating with
our global teams, combining location shoots and international edit
projects that keep things fresh and exciting.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Pre-Production:
* Collaborate with the
marketing team to understand briefs, brainstorm ideas, and develop
engaging concepts that align with campaign goals for Flight Club, Electric Shuffle and
Red Engine.
* Create storyboards and
draft scripts to outline the visual and narrative flow, ensuring
consistency with each brand's tone and messaging.
* Work with the Creative
Studio Manager to manage timelines, resources, and project schedules.
* Plan for
platform-specific formats, including aspect ratios, resolutions, and
durations, so content is optimised for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook,
YouTube, and other channels.
* Organise
and maintain video production equipment, ensuring all gear is
ready for each shoot.
Production:
* Capture high-quality
video footage that reflects the fun, vibrant energy of each brand,
tailored for different formats like websites, social media, and digital
campaigns.
* Film both live-action
footage and supplemental B-roll to enhance storytelling across various
promotional materials.
* Work closely with people
on set and communicate effectively with team members to bring creative
ideas to life.
* Be quick on your feet,
ready to troubleshoot any technical issues or make the best use of
available resources during shoots.
Post-Production:
* Use your editing skills
to craft a polished final product, including cutting, colour grading, and
adding any necessary effects. Optimise videos for each social media
platform, adjusting length and format as needed to maximise engagement on
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.
* Collaborate with the
design team to incorporate motion elements that bring still images to
life, enhancing campaigns with dynamic visual storytelling.
* Work closely with the
Creative Director in feedback sessions, ensuring that edits align with
brand vision and deliver the desired impact.
* Maintain a
well-organised library of digital assets, archiving footage and keeping
files accessible for future use.
To be successful in this role, you'll;
* Be skilled &
versatile: You’ve got solid experience in
videography/editing with a killer portfolio,
and you’re fluent in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and motion
graphics.
* Be a creative
storyteller: From shot composition to colour grading, you know how to
build a visual narrative that hooks an audience and leaves a lasting
impression.
* Be social media savvy:
You know what’s trending on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts,
and you can shape content to fit each platform’s vibe and format.
* Be technically
proficient: You’re comfortable with pro camera gear, lighting,
audio, and even have a few animation or 3D tricks up your sleeve
(bonus points!).
* Be detail-oriented: You
have an eye for detail and a knack for producing polished, brand-aligned
content on time.
* Be excited by
Hospitality: You’re energised by the thrill of working on fast
paced projects in hospitality, entertainment, and leisure, bringing to
life experiences that captivate and connect with
audiences showcasing our incredible venues and teams.
