Vacancy Title: NATIONAL SPECIFICATION MANAGER - HEAVYSIDE CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS

The Opportunity: As part of a dedicated national sales team, you will be responsible for gaining specification for our Client's products in the UK market. You will work closely with key customers at the design stage of projects to secure and defend specifications for a specialist product portfolio.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work closely and in conjunction with the Technical department.
2. Promote products to all specifiers, including but not limited to, architects, engineers, contractors, housebuilders, and government bodies.
3. Project tracking including use of Glenigan sales lead software.
4. Effective use of NBS Source to monitor specifications and determine where our BIM objects have been downloaded.
5. Professionally deliver CPD seminars as required.
6. Resolve technical issues and complaints which may involve site visits.
7. Recommend changes to develop/improve products and product offering.
8. Effective use of company CRM system.
Person Specification:
1. Extensive knowledge of dealing with Specifiers and the Specification process.
2. Sound knowledge of construction principles including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
3. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and complete within the required timescales.
4. Be able to work flexibly on own or as part of a team.
5. Self-Motivation and ability to manage own diary and appointments.
Training: All necessary training in relevant aspects of our Client's business will be provided along with continuous training and development opportunities.
Location/Area: NATIONAL (The ideal Candidate will be based either in the Midlands or Southern regions)
