Do you have a passion for optimizing content based on user intent? Does monitoring GA4 and Ahrefs for traffic improvements, conversions, and SERP jumps excite you? The Whatfix Content Marketing team seeks an experienced Content Marketing Manager for a senior role on a high-performing, lean, growth-oriented team. This role would be a content manager across the Whatfix content library of 600 content assets. You would monitor page analytics to report on traffic decay and close-to-impact articles using GA4, Ahrefs, and event tracking tools. You are hands-on and more than willing to optimize and update content yourself, and you can provide direction to the larger content team on identifying the highest-priority content optimization opportunities. This role is expected to have strong on and off-page SEO experience. You’ll be challenged with interlinking related content and orchestrating content in a user-friendly, intelligent way that clusters related content and guides users to find what they’re looking for. You’ll be tasked with managing routine SEO tasks like identifying content cannibalization, fixing on-page SEO issues like 404s and canonical issues, maintaining relationships with other content marketers for link-building purposes, and managing Jr. SEOs and link builders. Responsibilities: Auditing, refreshing, and pruning content across the Whatfix blog. Keeping a pulse on the Whatfix blog to understand what articles are falling in traffic, which is underperforming, and what needs to be updated. Owning content refreshes by writing content for optimizations and assigning priority tasks for writers. Owning an interlinking strategy ensuring all new content is adequately linked to related content. Drive organic traffic growth by executing SEO strategy through content optimization, onsite SEO, offsite SEO, site speed & performance, site structure. Make data-driven recommendations and decisions that optimize visitor experience, increase engagement and improve conversion rate. Scrappy and ready to instantly contribute to a high-performing content marketing team. Qualifications: Strong understanding of content marketing principles and strategy. You understand user intent, how to build world-class content, and are confident in your copy writing skills. Experience managing large content libraries, performing content audits, understands user intent, and can provide direction to writers for optimization projects. 4 years of experience with GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and Ahrefs. Experience managing content libraries in Wordpress. Experience creating and managing Airtable boards is a big plus. Experience with Elementor is a big plus. Experience with analytics tools like Amplitude, Hotjar, Heap, etc. are a plus. Experience with website localization and translation projects is a big plus.
