Project Engineers to join our clients Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team, supporting EDF. This is a pivotal role, and you will receive support and mentorship from experienced project engineering management professionals within the team, along with training and opportunities to develop and expand your project engineering management and leadership skills on larger and more complex projects.
What you'll need to succeed
Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including quality plans and technical specifications.
Manage technical queries in accordance with relevant processes and procedures.
Support the contractor selection and contract placement process.
Conduct technical reviews of contractor documents and drawings.
Perform technical appraisals of project options.
Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with designers and station engineering staff as required.
Prepare Engineering Changes and manage the preparation of supporting and affected documents.
Commission documents and act as test team leader where appropriate.
Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in managing the project, ensuring work is carried out safely, timely, and effectively to its conclusion.
Qualifications & Experience required
Typically, a Chartered Engineer or HND.
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification.
