Job Description As an Electrician, you will be responsible for providing mechanical and building services engineering maintenance to client properties. This includes fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation work on-site. The emphasis is on delivering a world-class building services maintenance service, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards and contribute to the seamless operation of our clients' facilities. Key Responsibilities Undertake the day-to-day PPM and reactive maintenance of client sites to ensure their functionality, compliance and efficient operation Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements Ensure that all electrical systems are maintained to NICIEC standards Ensure water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 ACOP Ensure the compliance of equipment and detailed record keeping for all tasks Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance Issue permits to work for high risk activities and ensure appropriate controls are adhered to Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes Develop a good working relationship with all members of ISS staff and clients staff Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Experience in a similar position Excellent knowledge of the operation and maintenance of electrical services, plant and equipment Educated to a minimum of City and Guilds or equivalent in an electrical discipline Completion of a recognised technical training scheme, apprenticeship (or equivalent programme) in Electrical Engineering 18th Edition IEE Regs Significant experience in providing Electrical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
