Position: Maintenance and Automation Engineer
Location: Bristol
Pay Rate: £40.84 per hour (Inside IR35)

iO Associates is currently recruiting a Maintenance and Automation Engineer to join our client's team at the Broughton site. You'll play a vital role in high-impact projects, working within an innovative and collaborative environment that thrives on pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tool Engineering: Support the setup, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tooling; assist in resolving issues with bespoke tools.
* Automation: Assist in validating, testing, and integrating NC programs; work with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
* Maintenance Support: Provide diagnostic feedback, help create technical specifications, and support analysis of equipment obsolescence.
* TPM Engagement: Contribute actively to Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) meetings and improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
* NC programming knowledge, including Fanuc and Siemens systems
* HNC qualification or 10+ years' experience in Jig and Tool Design, Engineering, or Production Maintenance
* Solid understanding of tooling maintenance and life cycle requirements
* Proficiency in CATIA V5
* Strong IT skills, with the ability to prepare tooling specs and maintenance plans
