What you will do: Working within the Laboratory Office at Crosshouse Hospital, you will have first line management responsibility for the secretarial and clerical services which includes Crosshouse and Ayr Hospital. Provision of a comprehensive secretarial and support service to the Laboratory Manager, Clinical Director and Administration support to all Laboratory Consultants. You will also possess a management or leadership certificate or 2 years NHS supervisory experience. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, and are able to work on your own, using initiative, as well as to work as part of a team. You should have experience of electronic systems (TURAS, DATIX, e-ESS, LIMS, Q-Pulse), good audiotyping skills and be able to prioritise tasks to enable you to work within agreed timescales.
