The role will join a highly collaborative team, where ideas to drive efficiencies are encouraged and explored. The Role: Lead, manage and coordinate a team of Developers to design, deliver and implement a wide variety of software development and process automation projects using an Agile / Waterfall hybrid framework. Promote / drive efficiency across all stages of the software development lifecycle, adhering to appropriate project management techniques to ensure completion to agreed timescales, quality and budget. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Essential: 2 years' experience matrix managing, (or line managing), software developers to deliver innovative solutions in an Agile / hybrid projects delivery environment. You might currently be a Team Lead and looking for your next step into Agile projects delivery. Agile project management experience, (Scrum, sprints, DSDM etc.). Excellent organisational and planning skills, able to demonstrate successful delivery of previous projects to timescale, quality and budget targets. PM collaborative tools experience including JIRA, MS Project etc. Exposure to a broad range of software development projects / technical environments and strong awareness of the SDLC. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently across the team and also to communicate with and influence senior management. Able to work a minimum of 2 days per week n Wakefield office with the development team. Experience delivering projects in a Public Sector environment would be beneficial. 5 years UK residency, (with no extended periods outside of the UK), in order to meet the necessary level of security vetting required. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years in order to meet the security vetting required for this role
