The purpose of a Lead .Net Developer in this team… This person is to lead by example in the development of one of the companies biggest SaaS products. By being a role model for others in the team, this will ensure that the team functions smoothly, delivers high-quality software, and continuously improves. You will consider the long term roadmap, focus on adding value to the product all whilst making it more user friendly and scalable What your day to day will look like… As a Lead Developer, you’ll be responsible for three Software Developers and you’ll report directly into the Engineering Manager. You’ll work in a hands on capacity developing Full Stack solutions using C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET, SQL, Javascript & Azure. You’ll advocate for best practices, efficiency, and champion positive culture within the engineering team. You will participate in design and planning sessions, create and maintain appropriate documentation, and stay updated with new technical concepts in software development. Sharing your discoveries and knowledge with the wider engineering team will be important, as will collaborating with team members throughout the development lifecycle. Experience required Commercial experience using C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, & Azure. Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices Clear examples of where you have played a Lead role. This could mean you are already in a Lead Developer position or could be a Senior who is ready to take the next step. Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers. Ability to manage projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
