Job Description:
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager - Charter and Airline Sales to join our dynamic team. You'll drive sales growth by developing and managing relationships with independent tour operators, brokers and corporate clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the leisure travel industry, strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities.

What you'll be doing:
* Develop and execute sales strategies, achieve revenue targets, and expand market share, particularly in the Business Travel and MICE markets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with charter brokers, tour operators, and corporate clients to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
* Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and manage contract agreements in line with company policies.
* Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, providing regular updates on performance metrics.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote services and generate new business.
* Deputise for the GM - Charter & Airline Sales, including interacting at Director level as required.
What you'll have:
* Management experience, ideally with a minimum of 5 years in sales within the aviation, airline, travel management, or business travel industry.
* Strong understanding of charter operations, airline contracts, aviation market dynamics, and business travel needs. Knowledge of the role aviation plays in the MICE industry.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong coaching, mentoring, and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop sales professionals.
* Ability to set clear expectations, goals, and KPIs for the sales team and hold team members accountable.
* Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
* Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen.
* Willingness and ability to travel as required.
