We seek an Electromechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in integrating our innovative technology into real-world applications. Role Description As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and integrating our enzymatic biofuel cell technology into existing electrical infrastructure at wastewater plants. Your role involves designing, building, and testing lab-scale prototypes to simulate real-world conditions. You will collaborate closely with our electrochemistry team to optimise system performance and ensure seamless integration. Key Responsibilities: Design and build electromechanical test rigs and prototypes for biofuel cell integration. Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate system performance under various conditions. Analyse experimental data to identify areas for improvement and optimise system efficiency using electronic circuits. Collaborate with electrochemists and other engineers to optimise biofuel cell performance within the electromechanical system. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment. Document experimental procedures, results, and analysis for future reference. Contribute to the development of intellectual property through patents and publications. Skills & Experience: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field. Industrial experience preferred. Strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles. Practical experience in designing and building electromechanical systems, including electronic circuits. Proficiency in using relevant software for design and analysis (e.g., CAD, electronic circuit tools). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
