St. David’s is a popular and over-subscribed Sixth Form College providing high quality education for 16-19 year olds within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. In our 2019 Estyn inspection we achieved an ‘excellent’ grade in inspection area one for standards, and in inspection area five for leadership and management.
Governors seek to appoint a highly enthusiastic HR Assistant to contribute to the smooth administration of HR, Governance and GDPR within the College. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a helpful, friendly and positive approach to tasks and colleagues. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, experience is less important than great teamwork in this role. Preference will be given to those who can demonstrate great Excel skills and Welsh speaking candidates. Some evening and weekend work is required, although this is with plenty of advance notice. We are a warm and friendly team and this role offers a genuine opportunity to make a difference in a fast paced and ambitious organisation.
The interview will consist of competency-based questions and an in-tray exercise.
