Job Overview
Rokeby School in Surrey is looking for an outstanding Deputy Head (Academic). The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and curriculum management experience combined with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of teaching and learning as well as the curriculum to ensure these are in line with the school’s aims and reflect the changing landscape of preparatory education.
The role holder will have significant leadership and curriculum management experience as well as proven experience in managing and enhancing assessment processes to drive higher achievement, together with strategic thinking and motivation to ensure that Rokeby continues to be an innovative, high achieving and ambitious learning environment.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills with a view to driving the meaningful development of teaching professionals. You will need to be able to lead all aspects of the teaching and learning life of the school, evaluating curriculum options and leading a performance culture of success and reflection for improved future practice.
Salary and Benefits
Salary according to Rokeby pay scale, which is substantially above the national scale, with outstanding training and CPD opportunities available.
