Description
We are hiring a Lead Videographer to work within our in-house studio team. As the Lead Videographer, you will inspire and guide an established team of video content creators, and be working alongside a team of highly experienced producers, photographers, creatives, stylists and marketing professionals.
Footasylum's in-house team are responsible for creating all marketing content. Day-to-day, you’ll be capturing video content for a range of platforms including, Social (Instagram & Facebook) & E-commerce (Footasylum website and Footasylum stores).
The role also offers various opportunities to work across a broad spectrum of briefs for internal, seasonal and reactive campaigns and branded campaigns for leading brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Converse, Jordan and many more.
We are the only UK retailer with the ability to create and produce content for global mega- brands in-house.
Based out of our purpose-built content creation studio is at The Sharp Project, This is an exciting role for reporting directly to the Head Of Marketing.
The Team
The Studio Team is part of the Marketing Department, and although we are based at The Sharp Project in Manchester, we are in constant communication with Head Office and the wider Marketing Team. We work closely with the Creative team on a variety of campaigns which cover Footasylum’s Own Brands as well as brands such as Nike and adidas.
The Studio is a dynamic and exciting place to work with every day being different. We have eComm running daily, as well as teams working on social and creative photoshoots. The team strive to create amazing content, always wanting to progress and develop their skills. Teamwork is huge over at the studio. We work collaboratively, supporting and encouraging one another to produce work which we are proud of. It is a fast-paced environment with new jobs being discussed, planned, and shot every day.
About You
You'll need to be determined, visually educated and knowledgeable culturally and within the video profession. You want work that gets spoken about at both audience and industry level.
You will need to be unfased by a busy Studio environment and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
You'll have a bar that is set at the top of the industry.
Along with;
* Demonstrable experience of directing shoots and models.
* Advanced knowledge of editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro)
* Kit knowledge of cameras (Arri Alexa, Red, BlackMagic & Sony)
* Good awareness of the social, digital and content landscape
* Pro-Active approach to work
* Good people skills / communication
