A Blackpool school is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant. This secondary school is looking for a confident and motivated individual with experience in either youth work, the care industry, sport coaching, or the Army.
This is a full-time role starting after the Christmas holidays this role is for the full academic year.
The school is dedicated to assisting every child in realising their potential. Their goal is for all students to have an inclusive educational experience that allows them to flourish as joyful, self-reliant, and responsible young people.
Responsibilities:
* Support pupils throughout the school day
* Support pupils across the specialist provision
* Incorporate the use of senses into learning
* Help pupils to support their speech, language and communication
* Consider the choices, needs and wishes of each pupil and encourage them to make the right choices for learning
We are looking for an individual who is outgoing, resilient, and calm in order to properly engage with the students and handle any challenging conduct that may develop if you want to be considered for this position. You will be required to work alone or in a small group.

- You have either experience in the education sector or a relatable sector such as; youth worker, care, HMP, Sport Coach or the Army.
- You are willing to go the extra mile to ensure pupils are engaged and supported
