Our Southampton Capital (Planned refurbishments) team is currently seeking a dedicated Contract Manager who embodies our values and can drive the successful completion of our refurbishment contracts.
We are currently in search of a dynamic Contract Manager who will play a key role in building, engaging, and empowering the team, with a dedication to ensuring quality delivery to our customers and clients.

The Contract Manager role:
* Responsible for leading the operational delivery of a variety of planned programs and contracts within Hampshire and Berkshire areas.
* Lead by example with a direct labour team, motivating, incentivising, and developing individuals.
* Instill ownership and responsibility in teams to support the successful delivery of works to expected standards, on time and to budget.
* Ensure Health and Safety measures are in place and monitored.
* Build relationships both internally and externally, encouraging collaboration between commercial and operational teams.
* Manage your own time to visit sites regularly and maintain productivity, ensuring procedures and reports are up to date.
What will you bring as a Contract Manager?
* Relevant experience in a similar role within the housing refurbishment sector, specifically running kitchen and bathroom programs.
* Demonstrable experience in managing direct labour, including team development and performance management.
* Understanding of cost and risk management, as well as working to budgets.
* An SMSTS qualification (preferred) with a sound working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements (essential).
* A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) is preferred.
* The ability to build successful working relationships with customers, clients, and employees.
