Electrician

The approved Electrician will be required to carry out a wide range of electrical duties ranging from service and response & breakdown works through to new build installations, mostly in the commercial & industrial sectors with a specific focus on hazardous areas, which may require working & staying away as needed.
More about the role:
1. Work at various locations throughout the UK undertaking new electrical installation works.
2. Carry out minor civil/construction duties such as clearing cable routes and making holes in walls to enable electrical installation works.
3. Testing of newly installed circuits/cabling and recording of results.
4. Completion of test certification efficiently and submission for approval from the qualifying manager.
5. Assist other Engineers as required.
6. Ensure all equipment checks are undertaken prior to commencing any works.
7. Ensure all uplifting and offloading of materials is conducted in a compliant manner with high regard for health and safety.
8. Responsibility for ensuring the security of all Company equipment.
9. Work in accordance with health and safety regulations, including provided RAMS documentation.
10. Identify repair work required.
11. Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and further services of the Company.
12. Complete all works paperwork and submit it in a timely manner to divisional staff.
13. Liaise with Line manager/office staff regarding all works and recommend improvements or opportunities.
14. Any other duties for which the electrician is qualified and capable of undertaking.
About you:
1. Must possess a current legal Driving licence.
2. Previous knowledge and experience of completing RAMS documentation.
3. Willingness to undertake additional training to increase capability in supplying services to customers.
4. C&G 2330 or equivalent.
5. NVQ3.
6. Test & Inspection.
7. Right to work in the UK.
