We are looking for a new Paid Search Executive, due to expansion, to join our award-winning Paid Media Team, based in Bedford. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).

About the Role:
As a Paid Search Executive in Receptional's award-winning Paid Media Team, you will be responsible for driving the success of Paid Search campaigns across multiple key clients. You will work closely with the Paid Social, SEO, Creative, and PR teams to execute paid search, display, and YouTube advertising strategies for iGaming brands, as well as other sectors. Your role will involve managing campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft, as well as learning how to use AI-powered tools to streamline and improve campaign creation, ad copywriting, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, a keen eye for optimisation, and a deep understanding of the dynamics of iGaming advertising.
The role will be Paid Search focused however, opportunity to learn wider platforms from a Social aspect will also be available. You’ll be encouraged to explore how automation and AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Performance Max, or custom internal tools) can enhance your workflows and learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Campaign Management: Provide support to Paid Search Managers by building, optimising, and managing paid media campaigns across key ad networks (Google Ads, Microsoft, etc.), ensuring they align with iGaming industry best practices.
* Reporting & Analysis: Produce accurate, high-level performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis, analysing key metrics such as ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), CPA (Cost per Acquisition), and CPL (Cost per Lead) for iGaming campaigns.
* Ad Copy Ideation with Generative AI: Assist in crafting engaging and compliant ad copy, using AI to generate and refine ideas tailored to the iGaming audience.
* Account Audits & Optimisation: Assist with account audits, identifying opportunities for campaign improvements and efficiency gains. Provide recommendations for new business proposals and client pitches.
* AI-Enhanced Campaign Support: Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Google Ads automation features) to support campaign creation, from generating ad copy variants to summarising data insights for reporting.
* Automation and Workflow Optimisation: Work alongside Paid Search Managers to explore and implement AI-driven solutions that save time and improve campaign accuracy, including scripts, rules, or third-party tools.
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Paid Social, SEO, and Creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and the optimization of iGaming campaigns across all touchpoints.
* Client Meetings: Attend and contribute to internal team meetings and external client meetings, sharing insights on campaign performance, emerging trends, and opportunities within the iGaming vertical.
* Industry Knowledge: Keep up to date with iGaming advertising regulations, industry trends, and new platform features to ensure campaigns remain compliant and innovative.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience in Digital Marketing: 6+ months' experience in Paid Search, preferably within the iGaming industry or agency-side.
* Campaign Management: Strong experience with Google Ads (Search, Display and YouTube).
* Attention to Detail: High attention to detail when creating ad copy, ensuring it complies with iGaming regulations.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report on campaign performance clearly and succinctly to both internal teams and clients.
* AI Curiosity and Learning Mindset: Demonstrates enthusiasm for experimenting with AI tools and automation software to improve paid media performance and efficiency.
* Adaptability to Evolving Tools: Comfortable learning new platforms and technologies, with a proactive attitude toward testing emerging AI features within advertising platforms.
* Collaboration & Cross-Team Support: Ability to work closely with the wider team to ensure alignment across all campaign touchpoints. Proactive in sharing insights and suggestions for improving overall campaign performance and brand strategy.
* Adaptability & Learning Mindset: Proactive in staying ahead of emerging industry trends, new tools, and advertising platform features. Enthusiastic about learning new techniques and testing new approaches to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving iGaming sector.
* Technical Knowledge: A working understanding of web tracking tags/pixels (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and campaign tracking specific to iGaming campaigns.
* Analytics & Reporting Tools: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio, or other analytics tools to measure and optimise campaign performance.
* iGaming Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific challenges and regulatory environment of iGaming advertising, including geo-targeting, age restrictions, and compliance standards.
* Basic Experience with AI Tools: Any exposure to AI-powered platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper, Performance Max creative tools) in a professional, academic, or personal project setting.
* Understanding of AI’s Role in Paid Media: Awareness of how AI and machine learning are transforming the digital marketing landscape, and interest in contributing to a culture of innovation.
