Seeking an HR Advisor to join the HR Operations team of a global financial services business. The role will report to the Group HR Operations lead and support HR Business Partner in delivering efficient and effective HR services.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing generalist HR support across all aspects of the employee life cycle ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes in a timely manner.
2. Manage onboarding processes including offers, pre-employment screening, new starter documentation, onboarding, and induction.
3. Manage contract changes, probation extensions, sickness, absence, family leave, disciplinary & grievance, and performance management in conjunction with HR Business Partners.
4. Manage HR systems, ensuring data is up to date and correct for reporting purposes.
5. Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR policies and processes in line with employment legislation.
6. Coordinate learning and development training sessions and initiatives.
7. Provide support for health and wellness programmes.
Experience required:
1. Experience of working within HR within the financial services sector with exposure to all aspects of the employee life cycle.
2. Educated to degree level or equivalent ideally with CIPD level 3 or 5.
3. Knowledge of best practice HR operational support and UK employment legislation.
4. Strong organisation skills with the ability to balance multiple demanding deadlines.
5. High level attention to detail with the ability to work accurately at pace.
6. Ability to use initiative and take accountability to provide quick and effective solutions.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office.
