Wood is currently seeking a dynamic Trainer/ Assessor who wishes to build their career and support our Construction Learning & Development Manager with the primary goal of enhancing the skills, knowledge, and competencies of our workforce to ensure they meet and exceed industry standards. By providing high-quality training and assessment, the team aims to create a highly skilled, safe, and efficient workforce that can adapt to the evolving demands of the Transmission and Distribution sector. The role is hybrid, based out of our William Press House offices in Darlington with home working and on-site requirements as and when required. LI-Hybrid The Role The transmission and distribution sector is characterised by rapid technological advancements, stringent safety regulations, and a high demand for operational efficiency. This role seeks to address the skill and knowledge gap within our workforce that can hinder the company's growth and operational effectiveness. You will have experience of delivering comprehensive training programs ensuring that all employees adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards in order to reduce the risk of accidents and incidents, fostering a safer working environment. As a skilled trainer/ assessor, you will have proven experience of equipping employees with the necessary technical and practical skills, enhancing productivity and operational efficiency allowing for reliable and effective transmission and distribution operations. Through continuous learning initiatives, you will be able to demonstrate how you have contributed to ensuring employees stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, enabling the company to remain competitive and innovative. The ideal candidate will have gained relevant experience in a medium to large sized company in a highly regulated industry with multi-site operations.
