They are expanding their team and looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their growing organisation.
Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business growth for the company by developing and maintaining relationships with prospective clients, understanding their waste management needs, and offering tailored solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities in the commercial sector, increasing their client base, and promoting their brand in the market.
Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities within the commercial waste management sector. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients across a range of industries, including retail, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and more.

Client Consultations: Conduct site visits and meetings with potential clients to assess their waste management needs, provide expert advice, and propose tailored waste management solutions.

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and managing post-sale relationships.

Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations to provide valuable insights and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service retention. Act as the main point of contact for all client inquiries and service issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective solutions for clients.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client meetings, and progress through CRM tools. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.

Brand Promotion: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in B2B.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
* Self-motivated and willing to travel as required
* Full Clean UK Driving License
