Head of Service- LiveWell
Job Share - 3.5 days/ 22.2 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Head of Service to work within LiveWell. The successful candidate will enter a Job Share partnership with the Head of Service for our LiveWell assets portfolio. Working as part of the senior leadership team they will provide strategic leadership to the portfolio, which includes Extra Care, SAMs and agencies. They will work with our existing Head of Service to ensure services in the portfolio are financially robust, well governed and high performing.

More about the role:
The Head of Service will report to the Executive Director of Care, Health and Wellbeing and work in a Job Share with the existing Head of Service for our assets portfolio. The focus of the role is to:
1. Lead on the strategic oversight and development of the LiveWell assets portfolio
2. Provide senior level operational oversight of services within the portfolio, ensuring they are financially robust, well governed, and high performing.
3. Lead a high performing team to deliver customer focused, impactful services and drive a commitment to ongoing continuous improvement.
4. Champion collaboration across the organisation in order to support SYHA to achieve its strategic objectives.
Who you are:
Our Head of Service will be performance driven with a drive to develop sustainable business which provides value for money. The successful candidate will have the following:
5. Demonstrable experience of managing contracts and/or assets. Ensuring excellent compliance, performance and risk management.
6. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
7. Track record of motivating and leading managers and in the development of a diverse workforce.
8. Proven experience of leading strategic initiatives, with the knowledge and skills required for successfully delivering change.
9. Personal credibility and a track record in housing, health, employment or social care setting.

10. Salary – £56,774- £58,916 FTE
11. Working hours – 22.2 hours
12. Generous holiday entitlement – 27 days annual leave, statutory bank holidays plus an additional 4 SYHA days, pro rata.
