The postholder will provide essential response to service users, with non-medical solutions as and when required. Travelling regionally, this position will involve signposting and triaging essential care to vulnerable service users. In addition, this role will include assisting with falls, maintenance and support with assistive technology and other equipment to ensure the safety and support of our service users. Responsibilities as a Community Responder will include: Provide response services appropriate to service user needs Provide reassurance and assistance related to falls or other accidents including any risk assessments and follow up procedures Update visit and service user reports as required using NRS system Work in partnership with relevant third parties to ensure service users needs are met Ensure service users are able to remain in their own home environment wherever possible, ensuring a safe and secure environment for them Travel across set region providing support to service users Maintain vehicle and equipment functionality to meet these aims Highlight any safeguarding or other observed concerns for service users Provide basic TEC installation and maintenance activities Provide response visits and duties in accordance with the TEC Services Association s Quality Standards Framework at all times.
