The Director Marketing is responsible for Marketing in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. This pivotal role brings the opportunity to shape our marketing landscape, enhancing our brand presence and supporting our sales endeavors across diverse markets. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, the Director Marketing will be a key player in driving our marketing strategies, bridging our global initiatives with regional specifics, and crafting campaigns that resonate across Europe and Africa. The Director Marketing (m/f/d) will be leading our efforts to develop and execute marketing campaigns and programs to drive new business across the region, providing leads and opportunities to sales on a consistent and ongoing basis.
What you will do
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing programs tailored for the EMEA region, aligning with our global strategies to boost brand awareness and drive opportunity creation for sales
Collaborate closely with sales teams to create targeted marketing campaigns that drive revenue and customer engagement
Manage and oversee regional marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact
Coordinate with the global marketing team to implement worldwide awareness programs, ensuring regional relevancy and impact
Lead a diverse team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence
Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and adapt to changing market needs
Establish strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance our market presence and explore new opportunities
Regularly report on marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
What we are looking for
Bachelors/masters degree in marketing, communications or a related field
At least 7 - 10 years of professional experience in marketing, preferably in a Data Center environment
Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable results and should possess extensive experience in marketing, particularly within the EMEA region
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential (German and English speaking preferred), as you'll be working closely with various teams and stakeholders
A strong analytical mindset, coupled with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing markets, will be key to your success in this role
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team
Detailed understanding of various digital marketing methods and technologies, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing
