CI MANAGER - COLERAINE Excellent Opportunity for a LEAN/CI professional to take control and lead Projects within an environment where engagement and buy-in will be very evident. We are seeking applications for the position of Continuous Improvement Manager based in Coleraine. Reporting to the Head of Site Operations, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be a key member of the site team and will have overall responsibility for ensuring coherence and consistency in the application of Continuous Improvement methods and KPIs, to drive and improve the business results of the site. The role will : Design, develop and deliver the evolution of the Operation Excellence approach within the site, ensuring alignment with current and future business needs, in order to support the ongoing development of the business with a culture of continuous improvement and customer service. In conjunction with the Head of Site Operations, drive a culture of Continuous Improvement and be a key advocate and leader for Lean Manufacturing across the site. Identify opportunities for improvements within all aspects and agree priority for programmes of improvement with Head of Site Operations. Train and facilitate teams across the site in the use of Continuous Improvement tools and boards in each area. Lead and report on continuous improvement projects for the site. The person appointed will have: Sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and will hold a Six Sigma Green Belt qualification. Be a confident self-starting individual with leadership qualities to enable teams to perform at their best. Excellent communicator and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to actively influence and persuade colleagues during periods of change. A strong problem-solving ability, resolving problems in a timely and thorough manner while providing direction to others.
