Credit Controller Location: Maidstone Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £27,500 - £31,000pa Work Environment: Office-based, 40 hours per week We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join a friendly finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is methodical, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses strong communication skills. Day-to-day of the role: Manage your own debtors ledger to ensure timely payment of invoices. Perform credit control activities via phone and email. Allocate payments accurately and deal with customer queries effectively. Conduct credit checks and assess credit limits. Liaise with internal colleagues to resolve any invoice queries. Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in credit control. Strong ability to collect payments from debtors. Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills. Good knowledge of Excel and Word. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work methodically and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations. Training will be provided on the bespoke cash allocation system used by the company. Benefits: 25 working days holiday, plus statutory holidays.
