We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team on a contract basis. This is a site-based role in Witham, Essex, offering at least six months of work with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
2. Provide guidance and support to site teams on best safety practices
3. Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
4. Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
5. Ensure compliance with relevant HSE legislation and company policies
Requirements:
1. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) essential
2. Proven experience in a construction or industrial or Utilities setting
3. Strong understanding of UK health & safety regulations
4. Ability to work independently and provide proactive safety solutions
5. Excellent communication and reporting skills
