Little Lambs Nursery provide a friendly, caring and stimulating environment for children, families are welcomed and valued and children feel comfortable and safe at Little Lambs. Our staff are trained and dedicated to the highest standard of care and education and embrace their roles within child development, helping to nurture rounded, joy filled children.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a fantastic position where you can demonstrate your expertise in professional childcare and child development to support high standards of education and care. You will manage the day to day running of the Nursery to maintain a joyful, nurturing, and safe setting where everyone is respected and their abilities and accomplishments are celebrated. When it is appropriate, you will direct families to our other programmes, such as parenting assistance and counselling, and you will actively organise and provide learning experiences and activities to fulfil individual needs. Please note, salary advertised is flexible and dependent on experience.
ABOUT YOU
Above all, we want someone who is dedicated to providing children and families with high-quality outcomes. You will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childhood Studies and experience of working in a senior early years role which has involved managing a room, team or service in an early years setting. You have professional experience of working with children and families where you have demonstrated your ability to be flexible, dependable, and patient. You have also used your great communication skills to listen well and explain solutions in an effective manner. You will be highly knowledgeable with child development, safeguarding, and SEN requirements. Your key strengths will be dependability and resourcefulness, and you'll be a lifelong student who enjoys bringing the best out in people and in yourself.
