Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Gateway receptionists to join our diverse and motivated team that are dedicated to the development of skills and the delivery of high quality safe care. The post is at Daycase theatres on Gateway G at the Treatment Centre.
As the Gateway Receptionists, you will often be the first point of contact for patients and visitors when entering the unit so a friendly, welcoming smile and excellent communication skills are essential.
Main duties of the job
Tasks will include but not be limited to fulfilling all necessary reception, clerical, administrative and general tasks required to facilitate and record patient information using technology systems. Staff are expected to be courteous and considerate at all times and have excellent customer care.
Basic computer skills will be needed and an understanding of Microsoft word and excel. Basic typing skills is a necessity preferably at RSA level 2. NUH programmes such as Careflow, Bluespire, Notis would be an advantage.
