Academic Support Assistant

Within this role, you will work alongside knowledgeable Subject Teachers to aid in the students' academic progress.
As an Academic Support Assistant, you will discuss and review student progress, creating structured learning resources. You will work 1:1 and in small groups with students to assist them in their areas of academic weakness, tailoring the way you deliver the sessions to suit the needs of SEN students (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc).
This role is perfect for aspiring Teachers, providing you with the opportunity to gain valuable in-class and out-of-class experience before pursuing your PGCE or Teacher Training.
The Head Teacher advocates for continuous development, offering Teacher Training to suitable graduates in September 2025 after completing a full academic year at the school.

* Providing regular feedback to Teachers following interventions

* £105 - £110 per day - Term time only
