About the Role
We are looking for an engaging and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Milton Keynes. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons that build students’ understanding of business concepts, finance, and management.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching: Deliver Business Studies lessons to students across Key Stages 4 and 5, preparing them for exams and real-world application.
* Lesson Planning: Develop creative lesson plans that cover a range of business topics, from marketing to finance, and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Assessment & Progress Tracking: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and keep up-to-date records in line with school policies.
* Curriculum Development: Work collaboratively with the department to refine and enhance the Business Studies curriculum, incorporating current events and case studies.
* Engagement: Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment that supports students' personal and academic growth.
About You
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related discipline. Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 is highly desirable, and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject is essential. The ideal candidate will be skilled in making business theory relevant and exciting, helping students connect classroom concepts to the wider business world.
