Assistant HR Business Partner We're currently recruiting for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks HR Team. This role will cover our Anglian Water contract and will advise and guide stakeholders across the business on a broad range of employee relations topics. Location : Weekly travel to site offices when required, with hybrid working Hours : 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Contract : Permanent, full-time and able to consider part-time opportunities Responsibilities As an Assistant HR Business Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Overseeing the case management of ER issues, ranging from performance, capability, employee grievances, disciplinaries, flexible working, absence, discrimination issues and workplace concerns. Support with managing complex ER issues. Ensuring ER investigations are conducted thoroughly and fairly whilst supporting and coaching line managers on appropriate behaviours and process. Taking ownership of tracking ER activity against metrics, supporting and advising on trends and themes and putting forward recommendations to proactively address underlying issues. Upskilling managers with relevant training, to develop our pool of managers who can support ER cases at investigation, disciplinary and appeal stages. What are we looking for? This role of Assistant HR Business Partner is great for you if you have: Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and its application Experience of working within an Alliance or JV environment is desirable (not essential) Effective organisational skills and able to manage multiple cases at any one time. Strong conflict management skills, able to prioritise cases and refer to colleagues as necessary Effective IT skills and usage (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, ER analytical data) An ability to assess and communicate employment risk when advising managers.
