Day surgery is a journey for our patients from admission to discharge. To work as part of the multidisciplinary team, providing safe and effective care for patients during the perioperative and post-operative period. To work in theatres for day surgery patients. To participate as an integral member of the theatre team and work with the multidisciplinary teams. You would participate in the supervision and training of students and junior staff with training onto the supervisor course package. To co-ordinate the patients journey from ward to recovery.
