About the Role
We're looking for a passionate leader to join us at ourMinehead Resort as part of our Accommodation and Guest Services department.
As a Venue Manager, you'll be vital in helping our guest's create smiles. You'll be part of a big team of people who are responsible for providing our guests with an altogether more fun and entertaining holiday.
You should enjoy developing people and be passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests by nurturing, training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
You'll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guest obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do.
You should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight our guests. You should be an advocate for your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin's.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for responsible for providing a high level of quality service to our guests during their holidays with us whilst maintaining the highest possible standards. Success is measured by our NPS qualitative scores, team satisfaction and health and safety scores with the resulting effect being one that we are best placed to achieve the department overall financials goals.
Playing a crucial role for our guests during their time on resort, you will develop the team to provide an environment where team can perform at their best, support the recruitment planning for the Accommodation and Guest Services department and work closely with the Senior Manager in the day-to-day operation of the department. You will ensure the standard operating procedures are being followed across the department to drive efficiencies and using resources appropriate to the task.
You should have a hands-on approach on the shop floor, be inquisitive to change, confident to challenge and enjoy looking at new ways of doing things by sharing best practise through the brand.
About You
We're looking for someone a passion for self-development and willingness to learn along with strong communication skills. If you have enthusiasm for change, the initiative to implement improvements and a flexible approach to working hours where required within a business that operates 7 days a week.
You should have a problem-solving attitude and be able to think outside the box alongside excellent planning and organisational skills, be able to focus on the detail and prioritise to ensure the biggest positive impact is achieved. You should have a keen eye for data analysis, implementation plans to benefit both the guest and team along with an empathetic approach to those you interact with.
