You We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Designer, you’ll be eager to learn and grow your design skills. You will be looking to become - over time - a master of your craft. You are naturally inquisitive and will ask lots of questions. You will proactively research our clients and products to fully understand the brief. You will be eager to understand how we work as a studio and how we respond to client briefs to create the best possible work. You’ll be a collaborative team-mate, keen to forge solid relationships across the agency. As you grow your skills, you will help to guide Work Placements. You will be inquisitive and eager to learn and grow. Learning to understand how valuable strong client relationships can be. You will be a sponge, soaking up knowledge and asking questions. You’ll be happy to say; ‘I don’t know’ or ‘How does this work?’ when you are learning, and we actively encourage and applaud this. You will be a driven and inspirational creative thinker. You will be developing a good understanding of the creative and commercial context of brands and markets they work in to produce positive solutions for the brand eco-system. You will be growing a strong frame of reference (broadening knowledge base, external collaborators, inspiration sources etc) to explore ways to best celebrate the uniqueness of brands. Able to engage in the debate on creative work by expressing a view based on brand and brief. Developing an understanding of the commercial realities of your projects. Excellent communication and people skills The role Based out of our Central London Studio, reporting to our Design Director, taking on a variety of design briefs including idea generation, design development and building design presentations. To help build a positive, creative culture through all that you do. Current projects include brand positioning, architecture, innovation, creation, renovation (identity & packaging re-design), sub-brand range extensions, activation (social content & in-store), guidelines/playbooks, internal branding & communication, plus animation & video. Areas of responsibility You will produce original concepts that add value to the brief. Build a strong foundation of knowledge regarding how best to develop design concepts. Be interested in developing skills and tools to ensure we stay ahead of the curve and our creative responses are modern and innovative.
