Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Supporting the Year 2 teacher in delivering lessons and activities
* Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials
* Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
* Supervising students during class and break times
* Providing feedback to the teacher on student progress
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
* Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Secondary education level or higher
Experience:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
* Experience supporting children with varying learning abilities
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of the primary school curriculum
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Additional relevant training or qualifications
Working Conditions:
* Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
* Temporary position with the possibility of extension
* Classroom-based role with some outdoor supervision duties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
