This opportunity is for emerging and aspiring TV drama directors UK wide (including Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales). Where possible, we aim to have at least 1 x shadow director on our drama shoots. These opportunities generally come up with limited notice and little time to conduct a full and thorough search, hence why we are opening up this talent pool. It isn't a live role unfortunately - but we will refer to the pool when opportunities come up and consider candidates from the pool whose skills, background, interests and experience align with the requirements of the role. You don't need to be available to apply as we don't have opportunities immediately. If we approach you about an opportunity and you're not free, don't worry, we will still consider you again the next time something suitable comes up. We have production hubs in Glasgow and Salford, and dramas based at various locations across the country including Northern Ireland, so this pool is open to applicants UK wide. Travel expenses will be covered as per BBC Studios policy. WHAT DOES IT TAKE? To be eligible for this talent pool you must be over 18 and demonstrate a clear interest in developing your career as a TV drama director. You also need to have 2 credits across the following categories:
* Funded drama short
* Funded feature film
* Professional theatre
* Commercials
* Soap
