Responsibilities of the Production Quality Engineer Optimise efficiency and control across shop floor, including the flow of materials. Supply chain management. Record and manage system, processes and material non-conformities. Root cause analysis/investigation into customer complaints/returns. Reporting using 8D report format. Carry out internal and external system/manufacturing process/product audits. Prepare work instructions. Deal with customers at a senior level. Requirements for a successful Production Quality Engineer Quality, Electronics or Engineering degree or qualification. Quality assurance experience within an electronics design, development and/or manufacturing environment. Electronic/mechanical design and product manufacture. Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Results-oriented. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
