A well-established electrical and mechanical company based in Gloucestershire Job Details Vital are working with an established M&E contractor who are looking to recruit an Electrical Appointed Person As a NICEIC-approved electrical contractor, they take pride in maintaining high industry standards. This new role for an Electrical Appointed Person is to be a crucial part of the operations, ensuring that the electricians' work meets safety and technical requirements. This position involves a mix of office-based and on-site responsibilities, with flexibility to manage your own workload. The Person We are looking for an organised, reliable, and technically skilled individual who can take responsibility for maintaining our high standards. You will need • A proactive and problem-solving approach. • Strong organisational skills and time management. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. • Good computer literacy for signing off electrical certifications. • Flexibility to work across different environments. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and maintain high safety and quality standards across electrical work. • Provide technical support and guidance to electricians. • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance. • Deliver training support to electricians, trainees, and apprentices. • Inspect ongoing and completed works to maintain quality control. • Ensure testing equipment is well-maintained with accurate service records. • Review and sign off electrical certifications in line with industry requirements. • Assist with the annual NICEIC inspection.
