About this role
We are looking for a skilled Programme Manager to lead our Engineering and Motor Vehicles department at Slough & Langley College.
The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, which includes teaching hours and planning, preparation, assessment and management time.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the Engineering and Motor Vehicles department, providing strategic direction and guidance to staff members.
* Teach and assess students as part of our engineering and motor vehicles courses.
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring student progress and achievement.
* Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to measure student performance.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What you need to succeed
* A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or education.
* Experience in teaching and assessing students, ideally in a further education setting.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students alike.
* A strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation.
