We are looking for a Registered Manager for a brand new 2-bed children’s home, the home is designed to provide high-quality care, emotional support, and guidance to children who require a stable home.
The home is currently being registered, with a 2nd home to be registered once the first is up an running, meaning it will become a Dual-Site role, a salary increase will be awarded to reflect this.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to the children in the home.
* Ensure that all care plans are tailored to meet the individual needs of the children, promoting their well-being, development, and safety.
* Oversee the daily operational management of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
* Maintain a positive and supportive environment for the children, helping them to build trust and feel safe.
* Regularly liaise with families, social workers, and other professionals involved in the children's care and development.
* Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to ensure the smooth running of the home.
* Provide guidance, training, and support to the care team, fostering a positive team culture.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory bodies.
* Respond to emergencies and handle challenging situations with professionalism and care.
