About the Role As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of our manufacturing operations and be a key driver of profitable growth. You will lead a dynamic team, implement continuous improvements, and ensure operational efficiency targets, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) delivery, and Quality standards, are met or exceeded. Your ability to strategically manage the P&L and champion sustainable growth initiatives will ensure the facility meets both production and financial expectations. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Development : Inspire and mentor a high-performing team to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development while aligning team objectives with the organisation’s strategic goals. Process Optimisation : Apply your advanced process improvement skills to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and enhance efficiency across all production lines, positioning our facility as an industry leader in efficiency and reliability. Operational Excellence : Achieve and exceed critical operational KPIs, including OEE, OTIF, and Quality. Ensure adherence to industry standards and corporate policies to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. P&L Management : Oversee the facility's financial performance, focusing on cost management, productivity, and profitability. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, aligning with rigorous finance and reporting standards to support strategic business goals. Continuous Improvement : Champion Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to implement sustainable improvements across all manufacturing processes, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning. Requirements 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting, in a senior leadership role. Experience of driving growth and profitability within complex operations. Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements, optimizing OEE, OTIF, Quality metrics, and enhancing production efficiency. Strong financial acumen with P&L accountability (minimum of 5 years). Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
